Global AV distribution specialist, Maverick AV Solutions has appointed Naina Tailor as its UK sales director, to lead customer engagement as it expands it’s AV/IT customer base with new manufacturer partnerships and global capabilities.  With over 15 years’ experience in the industry, she has built her career working with Sony UK, Lenovo and most recently Midwich.

An experienced operator with a brilliant work ethic, Tailor’s background of both manufacturer and distribution roles has given her extensive technical knowledge and deep customer relationships. Having been awarded a place at Lenovo’s presidents club for two consecutive years, her focus on customer experience and developing a specialist team will help to strengthen Maverick’s position in the UK market.

With expertise in managing different channels, she successfully launched a reseller channel programme and portal within Sony UK, and led a technical sales division at Midwich, which looked after 19 brands covering video wall processing, digital signage, connectivity, video conferencing and collaboration.

Tailor explains;

“The move to the Maverick team is an exciting step and one where I’ll be able to develop both the internal and external sales teams, as well as maintaining the business a distributor of choice for the AV channel. Maverick already has a brilliant client portfolio and has positioned itself at the forefront of where the industry is moving, so I will be supporting growth with both my technical specialism and team development skills, delivering exceptional value and service to our customers.”
